So, here’s how House Nous came about.

One of our team was buying their first home and finding the whole process pretty overwhelming. Dealing with estate agents, conveyancers, surveyors, mortgage lenders - there was just so much to think about.

Chatting to others we soon realised that they were not alone, even people on a second or third house move felt the same way.

The fact is buying a home isn’t something most people do very often. It’s a major life event that requires some know-how. We thought a central source of information with a down-to-earth, easy-to-follow guide showing what needs to be done, when, and by who would be pretty helpful.

So, House Nous was born

It provides non-salesy, expert advice, step-by-step guides to buying and selling a property and hints and tips to help you along the way.
